Uncle Will, Laurie, Chuck and families - I am so sad about the loss of Aunt Myrtie. I have so many good memories of her and your whole family. Watching her cook (especially turkey soup), making doll cakes with beautiful dresses, her crafting creativity - so many good things. I can still hear her laugh and loved her easy going nature. She was a very special part of my life. She has left a beautiful legacy behind in the part of her that all of you bring to those around you. The world of those she touched is a better place because of her. Keli Kelso Rugenstein

I have known Myrtis for awhile. I work at JoAnn Fabrics and it would make my day when she would come in to make her craft projects, especially the ones for the Festival of the Trees. She worked so hard on them and was so proud to come in and tell me how much the tree sold for. Every year she said she wasn't doing it the next year, but she was always back the next year. Myrtis, you are a very special lady and you left us too soon. My heart and prayers go out to your family.
