Obituary of Meigan Elizabeth Griffith

Meigan Griffith, 30, born September 18, 1991 in Malone, NY passed away unexpectedly while on vacation in Florida on Sunday March 6, 2022. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Frary Funeral Home. Calling hours will follow the service from 2:30 PM -4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM, please wear purple if you can. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home. Meigan is survived by her parents Scott and Tammy Dustin of Constable, NY; her sister Mourgain (David) Richards of Malone, NY along with her nephews, Rylan and Raidyn Richards; her companion Michael Meacham of Massena, NY; a chosen sister, Heather Guerin of Malone, NY; her maternal grandfather, Don Griffith of Malone, NY; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Eleanore Quigley of Malone, NY; three uncles, Doug (Tammy) Griffith of Massena, NY, Don L. Griffith of Malone, NY, and Gary (Stephanie) Dustin of Chateaugay, NY; three aunts, Tina (Michael) Mayer of Massena, NY, Dawn (Dennis) Allen of Redding, CA, and Tammy (Scott) Fisher of Port Henry, NY; and many cousins and loving friends. Meigan is predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Patricia Griffith and her paternal grandfather, Gary Dustin Sr. Meigan graduated high school from Franklin Academy in Malone, NY and completed a year at Paul Smiths College in the culinary program. She loved Harry Potter and Disney movies. Purple was her favorite color. She loved spoiling her nephews and Sunday breakfast with her family. She will be missed by her cats, who were her babies. In lieu of flowers, the family asks everyone to wear purple in memory of Meigan. Not only was it her favorite color, but the color of epilepsy awareness.
