Obituary of Elsa M Reynolds

Elsa Mary Avery Reynolds passed away on February 27, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born on December 19, 1931 to the late Herman Avery and Ella Avery. She attended Franklin Academy and graduated in 1950. She was married to the late Carlton Reynolds in 1951. They were side by side for 69 years until Carl’s passing in 2020. She had several different jobs and then she decided to be a stay-at-home mom where she raised three children and she was an outstanding mother to them. She was predeceased by three children, Brenda Lee, Darleen Reynolds, and Sharon Perrin; six brothers and a sister, Wesley, Ralph, Eldred, Wayne, Charlie, Hubert Avery and Marion Wilson; and a daughter in law, Kristine Reynolds. She was the last surviving of her family. Survivors of Elsa are her daughter, Vicky Reynolds; her son, Alan Reynolds; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife. She was a friend to everyone, always willing to help anyone in need. Some of the things she enjoyed doing included, keeping a vegetable and flower garden, crocheting, knitting, canning, reading novels, and doing crafts. She loved all the holidays and would always fully decorate for them. Mostly she cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mechelle Sturgen, Elise Sienkiewycz, Yvonne Howe, Sue Taft, Carolyn Durant, Nichole Jock, Hospice of the North Country, Sister Maryanne, Dr. Bhagat and all of her staff, and also her loving children Vicky and Alan Reynolds. Our gratitude to these people will never be forgotten. There will be a graveside service in the spring at Coal Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at fraryfuneralhome.com.
