Obituary of Joyce E. McIntyre

Joyce E. McIntyre age 71, of Malone, NY passed away peacefully on January 6, 2022, at the Alice Center Nursing Home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home. Joyce was born June 28, 1950 to the late Bertha Paeth and William Thomas of Rochester, NY. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1968. That school is no longer in operation. After high school she worked in various places before working at St. John’s Nursing Home on Highland Ave. in Rochester for a few years. She had to stop working in 1980 due to a back injury. Ms. McIntyre is survived by her daughter, Sheena Gravell and her husband Peter Gravell; and her granddaughters, Sophia and Emily of Westville, NY. She was predeceased by her brother Gene Thomas in 2010, her mother, Bertha in 1993 and her father, William in 1980.
