Obituary of Diane Elizabeth Allen

Diane E. ”Bunny” Allen age 75 of Malone, NY passed away Monday December 27, 2021, at the UVM Alice Hyde Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Friday December 31, 2021, from 4:00PM- 6:00PM at Frary Funeral Home. A date for the burial will be announced in the spring. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home. Diane was born February 26, 1946 in Malone, NY to the late Douglas E. Capstraw and Edna L. Burgess. She graduated from Franklin Academy in 1964. After graduated she worked for Community Bank in Malone as a teller for years. She was married and later divorced in 1968 to James Allen. After marriage spent her life with Floyd Perry for about 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, doing puzzles, and searching yard sales. Mrs. Allen was survived by her two sons, Christopher Allen of Arlington, TX and his wife Ebony and Casey M. Allen of North Bangor, NY and his fiancé Stephanie; three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Selena, and Ashley Allen; and a half- brother Doug Capstraw of Jamesville, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Edna Capstraw; her longtime companion Floyd Perry; a stepfather, George Barney; and an infant sister. Condolences can be made at fraryfuneralhomes.com.
