Obituary of Terry Russell Laclair

Terry R. Laclair age 74 of Malone, NY passed away peacefully Sunday morning, November 21, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home. Terry was born May 6, 1947 in Ellenburg, NY to the late Ovid “Bud” Laclair and Lillian Cook Laclair. He worked for the Highway Department in Ellenburg and Chateaugay. On August 7, 1999 he married the love of his life Joyce Monette. He enjoyed horses, his grandchildren, cookouts, rides on his side by side with his wife, giving horse rides in his wagon, and being around people. Mr. Laclair is survived by his wife Joyce A. Laclair; a son, Terry K. Laclair; two daughters, Jocelyn Recore and her husband Gary and Terra Peets and her fiancé Mike Fessette; a brother, Steve Laclair and his wife Booie; two sisters, Pam LaBombard and her husband John and April Barber and her husband Jim; his three horses, Bud, Sadi, and April; his thirteen grandchildren, Tori, Tyler, Bob, Kati, Juliana, Marcus, Eli, Madison, Ethan, Chelsea, Mathew, Lillian, and Alex; four great-grandchildren, Emmett, Raymond, Scarlett, and Cody; his in-laws, Beverly Monette and Janice Leclair; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Bud and Lillian Laclair; a brother, Charlie Laclair; a sister, Charlette Woodlift; and a father in-law, Irving Monette.
