Obituary of Wesley Wayne Lanthier

Wesley Wayne Lanthier, 74, of Tupper Lake, NY passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Alphonsus Cemetery directly followed by a celebration of life at the VFW in Tupper Lake at 12:00PM. Friends and family are welcomed. Wesley is survived by his love Linda Perrigo; his daughter, Danielle Lanthier; his sibling Gregory (Diane) Lanthier of Schaghticoke, NY, Marvin Lanthier of Tupper Lake, NY, and Marlene (Robert) Ashton of Piercefield, NY; he was a father figure to Jamie Perrigo and Marty (Karen) Perrigo; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Wesley is predeceased by his father Adrien and mother Eleanor (Schulz) Lanthier; two children, Wesley Jr. and Wendy Lanthier; and late Robert Perrigo. Wesley was born on June 10, 1947, in Tupper Lake, NY, the son of Adrien and Eleanor (Schulz) Lanthier. He attended Tupper Lake High School, graduating in 1967. He attended Hudson Valley Community College and Albany State graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. He worked at American Management Association in the finance department for 35 years before retiring. Wesley has spent the last 29 years with his love Linda Perrigo. Wesley ran track in high school and college. He also enjoyed playing softball and bowling but it was reading books and hunting that were his passion. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, and music as some of his hobbies. Spending time with his family and friends, joking around and enjoying life is what made him smile.
