Obituary of Margaret Mary Morin

The family of Margaret (Grenier) Morin is sharing her passing after a long illness at Glendale Home in Glenville, New York. She had been a wife and mother while being a motel owner/operator for many summer years. Margaret worked in retail in Rotterdam, Schenectady and Ames in Tupper Lake. She lived at the Ivy Terrace for quite a few years and worked at LP Quinn Grade School for Catholic Charities in the Foster Grandparent Program a little over 5 years, loving what she did. Anyone who knew her, knew she was a shy, quiet woman who walked everywhere she went and would only take a ride from a few close friends. She loved to make quilts, crochet and knit. Margaret will be greatly missed by her children Janice (Vince) Meyers, Aileen (Roger) Burnett, Hugues (Glenda) Morin, and Cindy Brasmeister; her grandchildren Jennifer Davis, Hugues (Nicky) Morin Jr., Rachel Burnett, Austin (Cheyenne) Brasmeister, and Erika (Kal) Dunston; her great-grandchildren Hugues Morin III, Parker Morin, Alexander Davis, Kora Dunston, Leighton Dunston, Kenzlee Dunston, Rowynn Dunston, and Charlotte Brasmeister. She is predeceased by her parents Mamie and John Grenier, brothers, John and Wilfred and sister Delima Moore. There will be no calling hours per her wishes, with a private burial at a later time.
