Obituary of Ellen Rose Boliver Lago

Funeral services for Ellen Rose (Boliver) Lago, age 71, of Copenhagen, NY, will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021, at 2:00PM at Frary Funeral Home, Harrisville, with Rev. Donald Manfred officiating. Burial will be held on Friday, May 27,2022 at 10:00AM at St. James Cemetery in Carthage, NY. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM to 2:00PM prior to funeral services on Monday, November 1, 2021. Mrs. Lago passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Concord, NC. She is survived by her four children, William B. Lago III of Copenhagen, NY, James F. Lago of Rutland, NY, Carrie Ellen Lago and her companion, Joseph Mack Jr., of Rutland, NY and Angel Stiles of Watertown, NY; three brothers, Robert Boliver of Concord, NC , Herbert Boliver of Sackets Harbor, NY and David Adams Clinton TN; two sister, Loni Daniels of Oliver Springs, TN and Ramona Pettit of Norwich, NY; five grandchildren, Samantha Potter and her Fiance, Andrew, of Watertown, NY, Angie Carter, and her husband, Paul, of Copenhagen, NY, Kyle Roggie and his fiancé, Mariah, of Carthage, NY, and Roseann Mack of Copenhagen, NY; four great-grandchildren, Alexa Carter, Braelon Carter, Navayah Roggie, Nylles Roggie , and nieces nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband William B. Lago Jr., her parents, Herbert and Grace Boliver, and a grandson Joseph D. Mack. Ellen was born on July 9, 1950, in Lowville, NY, the daughter of Herbert and Grace (Adams) Boliver. She graduated from Carthage Central School. Ellen married William B. Lago Jr. on June 28, 1969, at St. James Church in Carthage, NY. Ellen loved spending time with her friends and family.
