Obituary of Gary L Marshall

Gary L. Marshall age 79 of Brandon, NY passed away Sunday night, October 10, 2021, at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital. Calling hours will take place Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Frary Funeral Home in Malone. A funeral mass will take place Friday, October 15, 2021, at St. Augustine’s Church in North Bangor, NY at 12:00 PM with Fr. Lamica officiating. A burial will follow at Stevens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Malone. Gary was born on September 7, 1942, to the late Eugene Marshall and Gladys Mae Curtis in Skerry, NY. He was the current Highway Superintendent for the Town of Brandon for 46 years, as well as putting in 38 years for ALCOA in Massena, NY. On October 5, 1963, he married the love of his life, Judith O’Connor at St. Augustine’s Church. He was an avid dirt car racing fan, his golf cart, loved camping, and he lived his life for the people and the Town of Brandon. Mr. Marshall is survived by his sons, Barry Marshall and his wife Lori, Curtis Marshall and his wife Stephanie, Corey Marshall, Cary Marshall and his wife Norene, Jary Marshall and his wife Shelley, all of Skerry, NY; his brothers, Carl and his wife Louis Marshall and Dale and his wife Maureen Marshall; his sister, Joan Marshall; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Morgan, Brooke, Madison, Logan, Owen, William and a baby girl on the way; his great-grandchildren, Elijah, Jackson, Olivia, Brooke, and Austin; sister- in- laws; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Judith Marshall; his parents, Eugene and Gladys Marshall. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the North Bangor Fire and Rescue Department.
