Obituary of William F Moore

William “Bill” F. Moore Sr. age 83, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021, at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Maranatha Bible Church with Rev. Arthur Preve officiating in Constable, NY. Visitation will be held prior from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A burial will follow the service at Sunnyside Cemetery in Brushton, NY. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Malone. William was born July 25, 1938, to the late Francis J. & Edith L. “Drown” Moore in Malone, NY. He attended school in Malone. On July 6, 1973, he married the love of his life, Diane L. Newstead. He worked and retired after 32 years for Reynolds Metals in Massena. Prior to this, he worked on the Seaway. He was an avid hunter, perfectionist carpenter, enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle, and was a jack of all trades. He loved puttering around in his garage. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife Diane Moore of North Bangor, NY; his sons, William F. Moore Jr. of Bangor, NY, Timothy and Luigina Moore of Fairbanks, AK, and Mark and Jaliene Moore of Constable, NY; two daughters, Vicki Wilder of Plattsburgh, NY and Kristi and Matthew Fetko of North Bangor, NY; a brother Chick Moore and his wife Martha of West Bangor, NY; a sister, Beverly Fish and her husband Mike of Mexico, NY; grandchildren, Andrew Moore and his companion Amanda, Benjamin Moore, Tanya and Chayne Paul, Nathan Moore and his companion Valerie, Tiffany and Adam Watson, Latisha Wilder, Sadi Preve, Kelson Preve, and Zeke Fetko; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Edith Moore, and a brother Carl Moore. Memorial contributions can be made in William’s name to Maranatha Bible Church in Constable, NY.
