Ellen and I shared a love for our family members, gardening and Glazier hot dogs. I'll think of her as I drive by their house and look at the beauty she planted for others to enjoy as much as she did.

Dear Ellen,
Technically, I only met you once in real life, a few years back when I saw the table you all made together, but as of the last year, you became a part of my life through social media. Andrew told me that you listened to all of my Unfiltered series and that means the world to me as I was scared to even do this at all. I really appreciate you reaching out to me and letting me know that this was a good thing. I was hoping I would get to see you when we head back home in the Spring, but unfortunately, that didn't get to happen. Lately, I have been reading all the ways you touched so many lives, and I hope you knew that you touched mine too. I wish I would have had more time to get to know you better, but I think Andrew has a lot of you in him and his soul is so beautiful. He has an eye for the raw beauty of life and writings. I love all the stories he tells us of you. I told my husband and Andrew that when we have a child that I hope I can be like you as a Mom (as well as my own Mom). I love the love you have for your boys. I love the impact you have made. I love that you let your boys be who they are and find themselves too. You have shown so many how faith is powerful and it just inspires me so much. Thank you for everything and I will think of you every time I see sunflowers.

She was such a true and genuine person, I had the privilege of being her friend of 40+ years! She not only poured into my life and others at our church, but my children were blessed to have her as their teacher, in elementary and high school at our Little Christian school. She is enjoying her great reward in heaven for being a good and faithful servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus! I’m going to miss her so very much!

Mrs. Mainville was my most involved teacher throughout all of my four years of high school at New Covenant Christian Academy and she not only mentored me educationally but spiritually in my walk with Jesus Christ. I will miss her tremendously. Mark and family, you are all in my prayers during this difficult journey of grief. Daniel Farrow
