Obituary of Lawrence Eugene Jock

Lawrence “Larry” Eugene Jock, age 80, passed away on September 14, 2021, at the Alice Center in Malone. A joint burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date with his wife Maryanne Jock. Arrangements are under the care and directions of Frary Funeral Home, Malone. Lawrence was born March 20, 1941, in Fort Covington, NY to the late Eugene Joseph Jock and Alice Allen. He married Maryanne Charland on July 26, 1969, in the First Baptist Church and was later blessed at St. Joseph’s Church. Larry was a self-employed jack of all trades and later worked for Agway Petroleum as a service technician and then for Adirondack Energy alongside his son Chris until his retirement. He enjoyed working with his son and spending time with his grandchildren and dogs. Lawrence is survived by his son, Christopher Jock, and his wife Natascha of Westville; a brother, Norbert Jock of Fort Covington; two sisters, Barbara Jock and Mary Heneault of Fort Covington; two grandchildren, Aidyn and Khloe Jock of Westville. He was predeceased by his wife, Maryanne Bernadette Jock; two brothers, Phillip and Joseph Jock; a sister, Connie Bigness; and a brother in law Richard Henault.
