Obituary of Patrick Francis Reynolds

Patrick Francis Reynolds, age 67, passed away at his home early Tuesday July 13, 2021, with his family by his side, following a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM and 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. Funeral services will be Friday, July 16, 2021, at 11:00AM at Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg, followed by a graveside service at Notre Dame Cemetery in Ogdensburg, NY. Surviving Patrick are his wife Renee, son Eric, daughter-in-law Chelsea and his grandchildren Blaire and Jase. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Nicole, her husband David Bishop, and his step-grandchildren, Taner Haggart and Gilbert Bishop. Patrick’s mother Frances Reynolds, sister and brother-in-law Colleen and Clif Bice, and brother and sister-in-law Michael Reynolds and Diane Bean also survive him. He is also survived by many close friends, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Harold Reynolds in 1996 and his sister Nancy Reynolds Hebert in 2013. Patrick was born on July 7, 1954, to Harold and Frances Reynolds. He graduated from Heuvelton Central School in 1974. After graduation, he held multiple jobs including Ron Burns, Johnston electric, St. Lawrence Gas, and a variety of contractors. He worked for his uncle Jerry Howe Excavation for 13 years, followed by the town of Oswegatchie department of transportation where he retired after 22 years in 2017. He also worked for his brother Michael’s business Reynolds Excavating during the summer months. Patrick was a hard worker, rarely taking a day off- he always had a project to do. Patrick married Renee Falardeau on August 7, 1982, at Notre Dame in Ogdensburg, NY. Patrick enjoyed running heavy equipment, riding snowmobiles with his son and grandchildren, working on vintage/ late model snowmobiles, deer hunting, and working on his son’s 1971 Chevelle. He loved watching NHRA races with his son and his friends. Patrick was the type of man who never said “No” to anyone; if you needed a hand with a project or advice, he would be there.
