Obituary of Catherine Fox

Cathy Trombley Fox unexpectedly passed on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 at Will Rogers in Saranac Lake. She was born on December 7th, 1945 in Tupper Lake. Cathy is a native Tupper Laker! She was married to her late husband Robert Fox until his passing after a long illness. She is survived by her two sons and three stepsons. David and Allyson Peets of Saint Regis falls, NY. Todd Peets of Fulton NY. Stepsons Doug, Dan and Dave Fox of Michigan. Brothers include Charles, Nelson, Mike, and Bernie Trombley. Grandchildren Alexandra, Christine, Kayla, Brandi, Todd Jr., Heather, Michell, Kelly, Jessica, Devin, Derek, Eric, Amy, Joseph, and Christopher. Great grandchildren Grey, Karlee, Cora, Jace, Eddie, Charley, Silas, Calian, Luca, Aiden, Cameron, Kendall, Brylie, Aspen and Saylor. Cathy had a gypsy spirit! She loved to travel with Bob. No man’s land was Cathy’s land. Be it by cruise, ship, plane, or car, she was on the road. Much of her time was spent on the Florida coast. She loved the water! She traveled to Michigan often to visit her husband’s family. Her summers were spent with the family in NY. She and Bob enjoyed a little cottage on the river. Together, they retrofitted the cottage. Dotted with flowers, pine trees, hummingbirds, and knickknacks. Sunsets were spent holding hands on the dock with Bob. Cooking was not her first choice, but dinner out was on her menu. She did make a mean pot of Chicken and Dumplings. Cathy recently stated that she lived her life on her terms…as it should be. Donations may be sent to the Falls Cat Palace and Rescue.
