Obituary of John William Monaghan

John W. Monaghan age 53, passed away on July 5, 2021 at his home in Malone, NY. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:00AM at Frary Funeral Home, Malone. Calling hours will be held from 8:00AM until the time of services. Burial will be held at Morningside Cemetery at 11:30AM. Arrangements are under the care and direction Frary Funeral Home, Malone. Mr. Monaghan was born November 21, 1967 to Jack Monaghan and Nancy Bump in Malone, NY. He graduated from Chateaugay Central School in 1985. After high school, John joined the United States Army. John worked for many odd jobs around Malone. He loved history and dreamed of traveling the world. John is survived by his parents, Jack and Nancy Monaghan; his companion of 25 years, Petra Muse; three daughters, Kiersten Monaghan and her companion Neicole Patterson, Cheyenne Monaghan and her companion Patrick Moore, and Tierney Monaghan; a son Ian Conner Mecklenburg- Monaghan; a brother Shawn Monaghan and his companion, Samantha; two sisters, Jessie, Julia Monaghan; three grandchildren Sebastian Monaghan, Oakley Snyder, and Eleina Hubbard; and a nephew Evan Cofer; and many cousins.
