Obituary of Thomas Howard Shaheen

Thomas Howard Shaheen passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Church on Wednesday, June 23 at 10am. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary-Stuart Funeral Home. Thomas is survived by his son Shaheen Ryan Shaheen (Nanci) of Tupper Lake, NY., his sister Catharine (Rod) Shaheen of Tupper Lake, NY, his brother Joseph (Debora) Shaheen of Tennessee, his grandchildren; Chloe Wilson, Zach Smith, Emileigh Smith, Abbigail Smith, his nephew Ted LaMere, his niece Krit LaMere, and his close dear friend Jill Leonard. He was predeceased by his parents Shaheen and Gladys Shaheen. Thomas was born on August 8, 1953 in Tupper Lake where he attended Tupper Lake High School, graduating in 1972. He had a big heart and loved his dog Cody very much. Thomas had an extremely hard work ethic and loved to spend his time woodworking, working on the farm, and gardening. He also really loved the outdoors, especially camping. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas’ memory to the Tupper Lake Rescue Squad.
