Obituary of Margene T Damon

Margene T. Damon age 61, of Moira, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021, at her home. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 21, 2021, at 12:00 with Miguel Crespo officiating at Frary Funeral Home in Malone, NY. Calling hours will be held prior from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. A burial will take place at Independence Cemetery in Saranac, NY following the funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Malone. Margene was born on January 31, 1960, In San Antonio, TX to the late Howard E. Thomas and Marian L. Mills. She graduated high school, from Union Springs Academy and later attended Atlantic Union College. She was a homemaker and member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, she was a church organist for many years, as well a Sabbath School teacher for the young children. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Damon is survived by her sons, David Owen Damon of St. Regis Falls; a daughter, Stephanie Fish and her husband Neil of Owls Head, NY; two sisters, Linda Wheeler and her husband Steve of Mexico, NY and Patricia Clarke of Clinton, MA; ten grandchildren, Gabriel, Jenson, Chester, Kaylene, Lili, and Andy Damon, Wyatt Berkman, Wyatt Hanley, Simon Legacy, and Ernest Fish; three nieces, and several uncles, aunts and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Marian Thomas; a son, Jonathan “Thunder” Damon; and her brother Howard “Tom” Thomas.
