Obituary of Adrien Leon Brooks

Adrien Brooks, 80, of Malone, NY passed from this life to life into eternal life on Monday April 19, 2021 at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital. A funeral service will be held Sunday April 25, 2021 at 7:00PM at Frary- Spaulding Funeral Home in Malone with Deacon Brent Charland officiating. Calling hours will be held prior from 4:00PM- 7:00PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary- Spaulding Funeral Home. Adrien was born on July 30, 1940 to the late Joseph Brooks and Cordelia Lamica in Malone, NY. Adrien graduated from Franklin Academy in 1960. After schooling Adrien worked and later retired from ALCOA in 2001 from the Water Treatment Plant. Mr. Brooks was a member of the United State National Guard. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially baseball, as well as watching the Syracuse Orange Men’s Basketball. Adrien is survived by his wife Alice Brooks; his step- children Joanne (Ralph) Dumas, Mark (Tammy) Henderson and Belinda Henderson; his brother George Brooks, his four sisters Linda Renault, Shirley Haywood, Bea Warner, Susan Donahue; five grandchildren, Dawn (Pete) Warner, Daniel (Jennifer) Dumas, Darren (Brenton) Dumas, Scott Henderson, and Trevor Henderson; five great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Adrien was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Cordelia Brooks; two sisters, Madeline Perry and Sandra Jarvis; and his Martin family of one brother and seven sisters.
