Obituary of John Edward Davis

John Edward Davis, age 84, of Bellmont, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Highland Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Massena, NY. A graveside service at St. Francis of Assis Cemetery will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Spaulding Funeral Home, Malone, NY. John was born October 20, 1936 in Bellmont, NY to the late John Marvin Davis and Beatrice Dame. He attended school in Malone before joining the United State Air Force in 1958. Mr. Davis worked at Reynolds Metal Company for 25 years as a Pot Tender before retiring in 1998. John married and later divorced Judy Titus and later married Theresa Ann Sperry Martin, who predeceased him on March 1, 2021. John is survived by his step son, Brian Martin and his companion Maureen Lanctot; a step daughter, Terry Ann and her husband Neal Avery; his three sons, James, John, and Jeffrey Davis; a daughter Brenda Davis; a brother, Richard and his wife Elizabeth Davis; three sisters, Barbara Dumas, Janice Ritzman, and Judy Yando; many grandchildren including, Tiffany Hohol, Mark Martin, Jessie Wilbur, Lindsay Avery, Trevor Avery, Zacharie Martin, Earl Martin IV, Nichole Greenwood, Amy Martin, and Amanda Tavernia; and many great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Davis; his two step sons Mark and Earl Martin; a brother, Gary Davis; a sister, Betty Palmer; and a brother- in- law, Edward Ritzman.
