Obituary of Karen Yvonne Rivers

Karen Yvonne Warner Rivers age 61, of Malone, NY passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her family at CVPH in Plattsburgh, NY. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at 4:00PM at Frary Spaulding Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held prior from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. Interment will take place at a later date in Morningside Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Spaulding Funeral Home in Malone, NY. Karen was survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chad Rivers and Jessica Rivers; daughter, Kandi Rivers Saucier; two grand-daughters, Avery Rivers and Mackenzie Saucier; long-time companion Raymond Wood; many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Karen was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Bernice Warner, and two brothers Harrold Warner and Jackie Warner in infancy. Karen was born April 4th 1960 to the late Richard Warner and Bernice Learned in Malone, NY. She graduated from Franklin Academy in 1978 and later attended North Country Community College for Business Administration. Karen married and later divorced the late Randy Rivers in 1980. She worked for many towing companies in the Malone area as a Secretary and later at for the Malone Central School District as a teacher's aid. Karen loved spending her days retired taking care of her grandchildren. Putting puzzles together and crocheting were some hobbies she enjoyed. Condolences can be made at fraryfuneralhomes.com.
