Obituary of Ruth Margaret Peters

Ruth Margaret Peters, “Grammy,” age 97 passed away peacefully in the arms of her family on Saturday, February 20, 2021. She was born in Yorklyn, DE on January 11, 1924, the daughter of Ryan Ravilious and Florence Foote. She married the love of her life, Lt. Willard F. Peters in June of 1943 and they spent 63 years together sharing love and kindness with all who they met. After his passing in 2006, she came to Skerry, NY spending her later years at the home of her son. “Grammy” is survived by her son, Craig W. Peters and his wife Louise; her grandchildren, Ryan Peters, Christopher Peters, Paula Peters, Ryan Wilson, and Justin Wilson; her great- grandchildren, Bailey, Zoe, Brennan, Devon, Tyler, and Weston; and her very special friend, Danyka Britton. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary- Spaulding Funeral Home, Malone.
