Obituary of Albert David Campbell Jr

Albert David Campbell Jr, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 12th, 2020 at his home in North Bangor, NY. A private burial will take place at West Bangor Cemetery at a future date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary- Spaulding Funeral Home of Malone. He was born on May 20th, 1972 in Malone, NY to Albert D Campbell Sr. and the late Maxine A. Longchamp. He graduated from Brushton Moira Central School in 1990 with a building trades certificate from BOCES in Malone. After graduation Al joined the United States Army in the Special Forces Unit from 1990- 1993. He worked for Neal Frazier Painting until he started at Collins Feed/ Feed Commodities in Malone. Al also helped work on the Massena Dam Structure and for Fellions Jewerly as a setter and sizer. Al married Kimberly Parker and later they divorced. He was a great carpenter, enjoyed camping, fishing, attending car shows with his father and son, and time with his daughter and grand babies. Al also spend time building, playing gaming and guy stuff with Alex and David whenever he could. Al was a gentle caring man who would help anyone in anyway he could. His strength and will could move mountains. Family was very important to Al as he loved with all his heart and soul. Al is survived by his father, Albert D. Campbell Sr.; his companion (best friend), Melissa S. LaFountain- Boardway; a son, David S. Campbell; a daughter, Aurora S. Campbell; and two grandchildren Leighton Carter and Alisyn Intorcia; a great friend (father figure) for Alexander C. LaFountain since 2002; along with his cat, Mr. Kitty. He is predeceased by his mother, Maxine A. Campbell, and his uncle Bruce Longchamp as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents.
