Obituary of Daniel Jacob Gratton

Daniel Jacob Gratton, 48, of Malone, NY passed away Monday October 5, 2020 at University of Vermont Medical Center. Services will be held on Friday October 9, 2020, at 10AM with Deacon Brent Charland at Frary- Spaulding Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held prior to services from 9AM to 10AM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary- Spaulding Funeral Home. Dan is survived by this wife Careana (Fishel) Gratton; Dan’s parents Gerald Gratton and Rosalie DeLosReyes; his three daughters, Rosanna Robinson of Newport, Vermont, Kai Mayville Gratton of Malone, NY, Leona Gratton of Malone, NY; one son, Dakota Gratton of Burke, NY; and his grandchildren, Chloe and Jacob Gratton of Chateaugay, NY and Violet Robinson of Newport, Vermont. Dan was born in Riverside, California, on May 28, 1972, the son of Gerald Gratton and Rosalie DeLosReyes. Daniel married the love of his life, Careana Fishel on July 16, 2011. Mr. Gratton enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, playing World of War Craft, and his dogs. Memorial donations can be made in Daniel’s name to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
