Obituary of Roger Gary Varden

Roger Gary Varden passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at his home in Tupper Lake, surrounded by his loving family. Following Roger’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A burial service will take place at a later time in Holy Name Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary- Stuart Funeral Home, Tupper Lake. Born and raised in Tupper Lake, NY, Roger graduated from Tupper Lake High School. Roger then served in the US Army from 1964 until 1966 and in the National Guard for eight years as a Military Justice. He was also an active member of the Tupper Lake Honor Guard. Roger married Victoria LeBlance in 1969. Together they raised one daughter, Donna (Varden) Garrow. Roger is survived by his loving wife, Victoria; their daughter, Donna Garrow; one brother, Clifford Varden; grandsons, Kyle Varden and Jordan Garrow; great- grandchildren, Tanner and Mikenna Varden, and many nieces and nephews. Roger is pre deceased by his parents Adolphus and Josephine King Varden; his five brother and three sisters. Roger loved being with his grand and great-grandchildren. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time at his camp with all bis brothers, nephews, nieces and all of his friends.
