Obituary of Isabelle Mae Martin

Isabelle Mae Martin passed away on August 17, 2020 at the UVM Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, NY. Funeral services will be at Frary- Spaulding Funeral Home on Saturday August 21, 2020 at 2 PM. Calling hours will be held from 12PM to 2PM on Saturday prior to services. Private burial will be in Cornwall, Ontario at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary- Spaulding Funeral Home. Isabelle is survived by her husband James Martin who she married 21 years ago at the Martin Home; her daughters Rena Lawrence of Elizabethtown, NY, Rachelle St-Denis of Cornwall, ON; her sons Richard St-Denis of Lawrenceville, NY, and Robert St-Denis of Argyle, NY; step children Cheryl (Ed) Caskins of Westville, NY, Michael (Dianne) Martin of North Carolina, Ronald Martin of North Dakota, and Teresa Orange of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and ten step great-grandchildren. Isabelle was predeceased by her first husband Roger St-Denis; her daughter Rejeanne Lafave; her sisters Elise Matte and Cecile Patenaude; and her brother Frank Patenaude. Mrs. Martin was born July 13, 1941 in Ottawa, Ontario to the late Joseph Patenaude and Florance Sauve. Isabelle worked as a Montessori Teacher at the Children’s Corner in Malone, NY. Isabelle loved playing bingo at the casino with friends, traveling to North Dakota and North Carolina, and country western tours.
