Obituary of Marilyn Legault

Funeral services for Marilyn Rose St. Mary Legault will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 11:00AM at United Methodist Church in Constable with Rev. Howard Cain officiating. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Frary Spaulding Funeral Home in Malone. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in Constable. Mrs. Legault passed away Friday morning, July 24, 2020 at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Bruce; her children, James Legault of Constable, NY, Jennifer Siegenthaler of Winooski, VT, and Jeremy Legault and his wife, Tina, of Fort Leavenworth, KS; her siblings, Carolyn and Gene Marlow, of Malone, Barbara and Mark Gokey of Malone, Alton St. Mary (Sonny) of Malone and Ellen St. Mary, of Brandon, NY; her aunts, Nikki St. Mary of Malone, Doris St. Mary of Utica, and Muriel Tesstani, of Potsdam; her uncle, Peter Biando, of New Hartford, NY; her brother-in-law Bryce (Toby) Legault of Constable; cousins Shawn (Beth) Macauley, of Michigan, Kelli Macauly of Arizona, Courtney Winters of Tennessee and Connie Huntington of Michigan; grandchildren, Connor and Dylan Fefee of Constable, and Chase and Paige Legault of Fort Leavenworth, KS; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Carlton St. Mary, a special niece, Julie Deno, and her parents Leonard and Marion St. Mary. Marilyn was born on January 23, 1955 in Malone, New York, the daughter of Leonard and Marion Esseltine St. Mary. She graduated from Franklin Academy in 1974. She was first employed at Sansone’s Open-Air Market, and later worked at Tru-Stitch shoe factory in Malone, Malone Central School in the cafeteria, BOCES as a shop teacher, NYSARC and retired as a Teacher’s Aide at Children’s Corner, in June 2010. Marilyn was Queen of the Malone Chapter of TOPS. Marilyn’s hobbies included ceramics, flower gardening, bird watching, spending time with family, traveling and camping.
