Obituary of Joseph Charles Corneau

Joseph Charles Corneau, age 42, of Manhattan, New York, formally of Tupper Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Saint Alphonsus Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary-Stuart Funeral Home. Joe is survived by his Grandmother, Micheline Root of Sterling, VA, Uncles; John and Daniel Root, Pierre Corneau, and Aunt, Betsy Beaulieu; and many cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Dana and Marianne Root Corneau; and his sister Michelle Corneau. Joe was born on September 6, 1977, in Saranac Lake, son of Dana and Marianne Root Corneau. He graduated from Tupper Lake High School and earned multiple degrees. Joe attended Boston University in Boston, MA and graduated with his law degree from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. After graduation, Joe worked as a partner at the firm Klestadt Winters Jureller Southard & Stevens, LLP in Manhattan, New York. Joe enjoyed vacationing in Tupper Lake with family and friends and traveling the world. He recently adventured to Iceland, Hong Kong, and China documenting his travel with numerous photos posted on social media.
