Obituary of Douglas H. Badger

Douglas H. Badger, age 81, of Ogdensburg, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020, at Riverledge Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. Burial will be held in Flackville Cemetery at the convenience of the family where he will be laid to rest next to his parents. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. He is survived by his sister, Sharon Johnston and her husband, Thomas, of Lisbon, NY; his nephews, Jason Johnston and his wife, Sarah, Jeffrey Johnston and his wife, Elizabeth and Joshua Johnson and his companion, Beth Whyte. Douglas was born on October 4, 1938 in Ogdensburg, the son of Harold L. and Anne C. Palmer Badger. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1957. Doug worked as a mechanic for General Motors in Massena for over 30 years. He also served in the United States National Guard. Doug’s passion was his love of horses and taking care of them.
