Obituary of Dale Erwin Martin Sr.

Dale Martin, Sr., age 56, of Ogdensburg, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at his home. Funeral services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. Dale is survived by his father, Robert E. Martin of Ogdensburg, NY; a son, Dale E. Martin, Jr. of Syracuse, NY; his grandson of Lowville, NY; his granddaughters, Mackenzie & Savannah Martin; his bestfriend and brother, Brian Martin and companion, Peggy, of Ogdensburg, NY; brothers, David Martin and Terry Martin both of Illinois, along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son, Andrew R. Martin and his mother, Theresa Martin. Dale was born on September 26, 1963 in Ogdensburg, NY, the son of Robert E. (Bob) and Theresa M. Seguin Martin. He attended Ogdensburg Free Academy for his education. Dale joined the United States Army in 1985 until 1987. After he continued his chef career and also worked at ACCO International Brands in Ogdensburg. Dale enjoyed many different things in life but most of all spending time with his sons and family. He liked watching “Gun Smoke,” the old television show and enjoyed listening to music.
