Obituary of Stephen Michael Amoriell

Funeral Services for Stephen M. Amoriell, age 50, of Tupper Lake, NY, will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 11:00AM at Frary-Stuart Funeral Home with Deacon Gerald Savage officiating.  Calling hours will be held from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday, December 13, 2019 and 10:00AM up until time of the service on Saturday at Frary-Stuart Funeral Home.  Stephen passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at the Knights of Columbus following his funeral service.

Stephen is survived by his husband, Jon Manney; his parents, Samuel and Gloria Amoriell of Tupper Lake; his grandfather, John Amoriell of Tupper Lake; his aunt, Annette Johnson of Camillus, NY; his cousins, Mary Lou Karasek, of Baldwinsville, NY, and Linda Lee, of Manillis, NY. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Mildred Amoriell and his grandparents, Leland and Alice Daunais.

Stephen was born on December 8, 1969, in Saranac Lake, NY, son of Samuel and Gloria Daunais Amoriell. Stephen graduated school from Tupper Lake High School and went on to earn his Associate Degree from Paul Smith’s College. Stephen married Jon Manney on June 29, 2016 in Tupper Lake, New York.  He was employed at Sunmount DDSO as a Direct Support Assistant.

Stephen enjoyed traveling, concert going and theme parks.
