Obituary of Nathen Stephen Strack

Funeral services for Nathen S. Strack, age 36, formerly of Tupper Lake, NY, will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019, at 4:00PM at the Tupper Lake Christian Center located at 102 Main Street.  Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the Tupper Lake Christian Center prior to services. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 36 High Street. Mr. Strack passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary- Stuart Funeral Home in Tupper Lake, NY.

Nathen is survived by his loving mother, Gale Valliere and Gale’s partner, Scott Seiffert, of Tupper Lake, NY and Nathen's father, Jeff Strack of Glens Falls, NY. He also leaves behind his fiancée, Rene Denis and their five beautiful children, twins, Colin and Alaina age 10, Madison age 7, Sadie age 5, and Hailey age 4, along with Renee’s oldest son, Austin Fortier and Nathen's sister of his heart, Valerie Seiffert. Also, his Aunt Rita (Valliere) Gosselin of Keene, NY, Sheila (Strack) and Curt Poirer of North Carolina, Theresa Strack and Howard Malloy of Florida, Shyamala Strack of Georgia, Tracey and Greta Strack of Virginia. In heaven, Nathen will be with his namesake and uncle, PFC Stephen Valliere who was killed in action in Vietnam in 1966, his grandmother, Mary Strack, who died in 1986, and his uncle, Larry Strack, who passed away in 2017. Nathen also had a very special bond with his grandfather, Paul Strack, who predeceased him in 2014. Nathen referred to his grandfather as his hero, mentor and aspired to be like him. Paul adored him as well.

Nathen was born on November 26, 1983 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY. Nathen was a sports enthusiast and in his junior year of high school he found his niche in running Track. As an anchor, he still holds the record for the 4 by 4 and 4 by 1 at TLHS. Nathen was MVP 2 years in a row. He was a big fan of the Rangers and the Raiders and followed them passionately. Nathen also proudly became an Adirondack 46'er by age 16. His 46'er number is #4640. Nathen's greatest passion above all else were his 5 beautiful children. He instilled a real sense of family, faith, kindness and empathy to others in his children. He affectionately referred to his children as "The Strack Pack".
