Obituary of Michael J. Ripley

Michael J. Ripley, age 47, of Ogdensburg, NY, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. At this time there will be no funeral services or calling hours.  

Michael is survived by his sister, Stacy Rowe of Ogdensburg, NY; his mother, Sheila Russell; a niece and  two nephews, Julia Brown, Aaron Rowe and John R. Dishaw and two great nieces, Cora and Evelyn Brown. He is predeceased by his father, Gordon Ripley, his step father, Ralph Russell and uncle, Arthur DesChamps.

Michael was born on November 22, 1971, in Ogdensburg, NY, the son of Gordon Ripley and Sheila (Dishaw) Russell. He attended to Ogdensburg Free Academy. Michael was first employed by the State Hospital for a short time and then relocated to Iowa, working for Gateway Computers.

Michael enjoyed fishing, computers, drawing and taking care of his plants.
