I am so very sorry for not being able to say goodbye to you in person Uncle Babe! You hold a very special and dear place in my heart. Over the years, you have supported every decision I have made good or bad and helped me through some difficult times. I will never forget since I have moved to Florida, you always found a way to come and see both myself and my family during my visits even through snow storms. I will always remember those special summers I was able to spend with the "Blanchards" as a kid which meant never a dull moment.... I am truly blessed to have had this special person in my life and now I am even more blessed to have him looking over me and my family. To anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him, you will always have a funny story to tell about Uncle Babe right down to his own sayings. I will miss you very much!

Uncle Babe, I have been thinking about all the great memories I have of you. I realized I have too many to mention as I think most people feel. I think one of my favorite times were when you would sit me down to talk to me about my relationship with Dean, my job, my family or just chit chat about life. You have always found time to call or come visit my sisters and I to make sure we were doing good. I was just talking to my sister Jennifer earlier today and found out that you called her each week after she got home from the hospital from having John just to see how she was doing. I can't remember a time when you weren't waiting for us to get home from the graduation ceremony to get the party started. You always stayed home to put food in the oven for my mom.. however only if she made you some special baked beans. Uncle Babe, Thank you for being you and loving us so much. I will always keep these memories alive by sharing all of my stories with others. Debbie, Roger, Butch and Chris and families, we are all thinking of you during this difficult time.

How do you say goodbye to someone who has been there for every hard decision and a hug at every mistake? Uncle Babe is that man, I do not ever remember him judging me for any of my mistakes he just opened his arms and hugged me. His phone calls on sunday afternoon will be missed most of all. Every sunday no fail. I asked how do you say goodbye, my answer is as long as you remember there is never a need to say goodbye. Love to everyone. Laurie ellen

Where Shall I Begin ... With The Wonderful Memories We All Have Of Our Uncle Babe From The Snacks And Surprises He Use To Bring Us "Girls" When He Use To Join All Of Our Parties And You Always Knew When He Arrived With His Happy Go Luck Jolly Self I Think Are The Best Words To Describe Uncle Babe, That Salty Dog Drink I Think It Was ... And Could He Ever Could A Bass At Camp When We Visited To That Spruce Tree I Gave To Him And Planted And When We Visited Him He Would Brag About That Tree And How It Was Growing. That Tree Symbolizes How Our Memories Will Live On With Our Wonderful Uncle Babe And Each One We Share With Each Other And To How He Use To Call To See How My Kayla & Kaidence Were. He Loved Us All So Dearly. He Will Be Truly Missed By All.
