Obituary of Mary Davis

Obituary Notice Word has been received of the death of Mary Davis, age 77, of Saranac Lake, NY who died Monday, June 01, 2009 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Born in Pierrepont, New York on January 05, 1932, she was the daughter of Erwing and Francis (Johnson) Davis. Mary possessed a wonderful, loving spirit. She loved animals and volunteered at the local animal shelter. She also made voluntary donations to the ASPCA. Everyone who met Mary loved her beautiful being and contagious smile. Mary will be deeply missed at her home and in her community. She is survived by one sister Esther Jennings, two nephews, Daren and Steven Jennings, four brothers John (Beulah) Davis, Morris Davis, James Davis and Herman Davis and one nephew by marriage Everest Stiles, Jr. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place in Florida at the convenience of the family at a later date. Friends wishing to remember Mary Davis may make memorial contributions to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter in care of the funeral home.
