Obituary of Catherine P. Kirche

Catherine P. Kirche, age 97, of 7278 State Route 30, Paul Smiths, NY, died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the AMC-Uihlein Mercy Center Nursing Home in Lake Placid where she had been a resident since 2007. Born in Remsen, New York on February 18, 1912, she was the daughter of William and Cora (Ingersoll) Pritchard, Sr. She married Charles D. Kirche, Jr. on June 10, 1939 in Tacony, Philadelphia, PA. He predeceased her on March 11, 2002. She is survived by one son Donald Kirche of Saranac Lake, NY; one daughter M. Ellen Jones of Lake Placid, NY; one brother Maldwyn Pritchard of Boonville, NY, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, one sister Mary Lewis and one brother William Pritchard, Jr. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family. Friends wishing to remember Catherine P.
