Obituary of Steven Dashnaw

Steven H. Dashnaw, 62, died May 15, 2009 at AMC-Uihlein in Lake Placid, NY. He was born April 14, 1947 in Albany, NY to the late Mary (Dashnaw) Hanlon. He graduated from Saranac Central School in 1965. Steven served his country with the United States Army from 1965-1968 and was a Vietnam veteran. Steve is survived by his brothers, Jerry Dashnaw and Colleen of Lake Placid, NY, Tony Dashnaw and his wife Judy of Saranac, NY, Thomas Hanlon and his wife, Jennifer of Island Pond, VT, Richard Hanlon and Cissy of Saranac Lake, NY, his sister, Brenda Phaneuf and her husband, Tony of Hollywood, Florida, his sister-in-law, Linda Hanlon of West Springfield, Mass., and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary and brother, Raymond J. Hanlon. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place at 2:30 PM on Tuesday May 19, 2009 at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Saranac Lake with the Rev. Patrick O'Reilly officiating.
