Obituary of Grace M. Clement

TUPPER LAKE- Grace M. Clement, 68, of Tupper Lake died Friday, February 6, 2009 at her home. Born on April 8, 1940 in Conifer, she was the daughter of Medore and Clara (LaGray) Sauvie. Grace was employed as a developmental aide at Sunmount DDSO for 30 years. She was also a waitress in local restaurants for many years. Grace is survived by three sons; Michael Clement of Malta, Allen Clement of Tupper Lake, Tracy (Karen) Clement of Johnsonville and one daughter, Stacey Ann Mallette of Tupper Lake. She is survived by five grandchildren; Mikey, Taylor, Cassie, Chad and Brandon as well as several great grandchildren. Grace is also survived by two sisters and eight brothers; Elizabeth (Jim) Collins of Florida, Sally Baker of Lyon Mountain, Clay (Patti) Sauvie of Saranac Lake, Curt (Mary) Sauvie of Johnsonville, Jeff (Karen) Sauvie of Tennessee, Ron (Holly) Sauvie of Tupper Lake, Jim (Thiry) Sauvie of Brasher Falls, Bob (Robbie) Sauvie of Georgia, Terry (Kathy) Sauvie of Pennsylvania and Rex Sauvie of Florida and many nieces and nephews. Her very good friend and caregiver, Theresa Gaff, also survives. There will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Tupper Lake Rescue Squad.
