Obituary of Bryan C. Zink
Funeral Services for Bryan C. Zink, age 55, of Harrisville, will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00PM at Frary Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Looby officiating. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00PM at Frary Funeral Home on 14248 State St. in Harrisville. Mr. Zink passed away on Thursday, February 9, in Frederick, Maryland.
Bryan is survived by his loving wife, Connie Sue (Turner) Zink; his parents, Edward Zink Jr. and Roena Zink of Yarmeth, Maine; his children, Sean Rogers and his wife Debra of Colchester, Vermont, Jonathan Law and his companion Destiny Cole of Harrisville, Kyleigh (Clement) and her husband Chris Stephenson of Harrisville, Joseph Clement; two sisters, Joanna Tarrazi and her husband George of Abbot, Maine, Maria Murray and her husband Michael of South Bridge, Massachusetts; one brother, Edward Zink and his companion Tina Bourgeois of Manchester, New Hampshire; eight grandchildren, Amanda and Mason Rogers, Melody, Riley, and Rory Law; Lilah and Mariah (Momo) Stephenson; and Keegan Clement as well as his little Chihuahua Chili.
Bryan was born on April 2, 1961, in Beaumont, Texas, the son of Edward Zink Jr. and Roena Zink. He attended Downington High School in Pennsylvania and graduated from Marshfield High School in Marshfield, Massachusetts. He married Connie Sue Turner on June 30, 2012 at Carlowden Country Club in Carthage, New York. He first went to work managing many restaurants in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area which he enjoyed very much. He later went to work as a lead foreman for Hubbard Construction doing finish carpentry. He worked the last twelve years as an owner/operator of his own truck transporting for LaValley Transportation in Potsdam, NY. He travelled over 1,750,000 miles without an accident and he did his job proudly and professionally as he was a proud member of the Million Mile Club.
He enjoyed spending time at home with his wife and family along with golfing with his son, Sean. He also enjoyed playing Candy Crush Saga and Trivia Crack as well as winning Vermont State Cribbage Championship. He was loved by everyone and was known to go out of his way to help strangers. He had a big heart and he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
